Do you have a hand-made quilt or mittens that need a loving home? Are you that talented artist or jewelry designer who is willing to use your talents to help get Democrats elected? Would you like to help a local business by purchasing a gift card and donating it toward ensuring that your local and state candidates receive the support they need? If so, please consider donating an item or two, such as these to the Livingston County Democrats Winans’ Silent Auction.
Slated for June 11, the Winans’ event will again feature their on-line Silent Auction to help fund elections in the upcoming year and 2022. The more items donated, the greater the variety and appeal will be to bidders, and the more successful the auction will be. Typically, “themed” baskets such as a “Taste of Italy, Greece, Ireland,” etc. have made the donation table, as have gift cards to restaurants, especially those who have curbside pick-up and delivery. Donations of wine and spirits are also appreciated, and incorporated into baskets as well.
Anyone interested in donating items to the auction may email the Livingston Dems at livcodems@gmail.com or call the office at 810-229-4212 from Wednesday-Saturday between noon and 2 p.m. to arrange to drop off items.
