Take a break with Music for Democracy!
Take a break with Music for Democracy!

We’ve been demonstrating, writing postcards, and making phone calls for weeks.

After all that organizing, we deserve a break!

Join Livingston Dems on Saturday, April 5, for a special event – Music for Democracy, a night of musical performances by three outstanding musical acts benefiting Livingston Dems.

Featured acts will be Billy Mack and the Juke Joint Johnnies, playing vintage rock and roll as well as swing music.

Also playing will be a pair of cousins, James Bourland and Lottie Mae Prenevost. They will be performing American standards from the folk, blues, and musical theater cannons.

And finally, Danny Pratt and the DelElectros will perform classic blues.

The event will be Saturday, April 5, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Howell Eagles, 141 Schroeder Park Dr., Howell.

Dancing will be available. There also will be a cash bar and light snacks. And there will be some brief political speeches.

All proceeds will benefit Livingston County Democrats.

Tickets are $20 per person or $50 for a sponsorship.

Please sign up by noon on Saturday, April 5, through ActBlue here.  Tickets will not be available at the door except by check.

This is the ideal way to lighten our mood and recharge our batteries for the long haul!
